Dimplex Revillusion Neutral Brick 24 Electric Insert

An electric fire your guests will lean in to check. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: 0–450 sq ft • Viewing Area: 24″ fire • Fuel: Electric. • Controls: Remote with adjustable flame color and brightness; built-in touch controls. • Fan: Included Who It’s For Most electric fireplaces look like a screen playing a video of a fire—flat flames on a dark panel, and you can tell from across the room. So it ends up as the feature you stop turning on. You need an electric fire that reads as fire , not as footage of one. If you want real flame character in a room where a chimney or gas line isn’t in the cards, the Revillusion 24 Built-in Electric Firebox in Neutral Brick is the one. Choose a standard flat-panel electric instead and you get a picture of a fire; this one gives you depth. What Makes It Special Dimplex’s patented flame effect plays across a partially frosted acrylic panel set behind the logs, so the flames appear to rise from within the logs —and you can see clear through them to the brick backer, the full-depth view a masonry firebox gives you . That’s the difference between a fire and a screen. The logs themselves are Realogs, handcrafted from real wood with LED lights inside that give off a slow, pulsating glow, the way coals breathe in a real fire. The remote adjusts the light color and intensity, so the fire suits a quiet evening or a full house. The fan-forced heater warms up to 1,000 square feet on demand, and the flame runs with or without heat—so the fire is on in July, too. Possible Downsides • The Neutral Brick backer is fixed ; for a different look, the same firebox comes in Black, Herringbone, or Weathered Concrete. • Installation trim kits are optional accessories , sold separately in 36″ and 40″ widths. • It heats the room it’s in ; treat it as supplemental warmth, not a furnace replacement. If you want a fire that looks real in a room where a chimney or gas line isn’t an option, the Revillusion 24 is the right decision. The room it’s in becomes the room the house lives in. It comes in four backer finishes—Neutral Brick, Black, Herringbone, and Weathered Concrete—and takes an optional black installation trim in 36″ or 40″ widths for a finished built-in look.
