Dimplex Prism 34 Electric Fireplace

A fire you can restyle as often as the room around it. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: 0–500 sq ft • Viewing Area: 34″ of linear flame • Fuel: Electric; plugs into a standard outlet or hardwires for a built-in look. • Controls: Multi-function remote with thermostat, built-in controls, sleep timer. • Fan: Included Who It’s For There’s a wall in the living room that needs something, and a construction project isn’t in the plans—no gas line, no chimney, no torn-open drywall. You need a fireplace that adapts to the room, not the other way around . If you want a fire you can recolor to match the room and the mood , plus real warmth on the nights that call for it, the Dimplex Prism 34 is the one. Pick a fixed-look unit instead and you’re committed to one flame and one style for the next decade. What Makes It Special The Prism flame lights a bed of clear acrylic crystals from below, and the color is up to you: pre-set and custom color effects mean the fire can run classic orange tonight and something cooler tomorrow. Repaint the room, swap the media bed, change the flame— the fireplace keeps up with the house instead of dating it . The flame and the heat run separately, so the fire works 365 days a year —flame only on a July evening, flame and heat in January. When you do want warmth, the fan-forced heater holds the room at the temperature you set, all from the remote. Surface-mount it or have our team recess it into the wall for a built-in look. Possible Downsides • Log sets and alternate ember beds are optional add-ons; the included media is clear acrylic crystal. • The 34″ is the smallest Prism; the same fireplace comes in 50″ and 74″ widths if you want the fire to span the wall. If you want a fire that keeps up with your room instead of dictating to it, the Prism 34 is the right decision. The wall you never knew what to do with becomes the reason everyone ends up in that room. The Prism 34 takes optional ember beds—tumbled glass, river rocks, black rocks, and clear acrylic crystals—and three faux wood log sets: beach driftwood, driftwood, and thin split logs.
