Dimplex Nova Series 33 (with Logs) Electric Fireplace

A fire for any room with an outlet. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: 0–500 sq ft • Fuel: Electric. • Controls: Multi-function remote plus hidden built-in controls—thermostat, brightness, flame theme—and a built-in timer. • Fan: Included Who It’s For There’s a room in your house that wants a fire—an old fireplace opening that sits empty, or a den that never had one—but a chimney or a gas line turns that idea into a construction project. You need a fire that runs on the wiring your house already has . If you want flames tonight and warmth on demand, and you’d rather plug something in than open up a wall, the Nova 33 is built for you. Choose a fuel-burning unit instead and you’re budgeting for venting and permits before the first flame. What Makes It Special The flames are the point. Inner-glow logs sit over a pulsing ember bed, and you can adjust the flame speed, the brightness, and the firebox lighting until the fire matches the evening. Run it without the heater and you get flames 365 days a year —a fire in July as easily as January. When you do want warmth, the fan-forced heater covers up to 1,000 square feet on demand. Set the thermostat and the Nova holds the room there; set the timer and it shuts itself down after you’ve gone to bed. Installation is the quiet advantage. The Nova slides into an existing fireplace opening or builds into a new surround, plugs into a standard household outlet , and needs no chimney or gas line. It’s backed by a 2-year limited warranty. Possible Downsides • Heat is one-room comfort, not central heat —the fan-forced heater warms the room it’s in and won’t replace your furnace. • Only the Realogs log set is included ; tumbled glass, river rock, black rock, and acrylic crystal ember beds—and the driftwood log sets—are optional add-ons. If you want a fire in a room that was never built for one, the Nova 33 is the right decision. The room it’s in becomes the room the house lives in. The Nova 33 ships with the Realogs ember bed and can be restyled with tumbled glass, large river rocks, black rocks, or acrylic crystals, or swapped to a driftwood or beach driftwood faux wood log set.
