Dimplex Ignite Evolve 74 Electric Fireplace

Six feet of fire, no chimney, no gas line—indoors or out. Quick Facts • Heating Capacity: 0–500 sq ft • Viewing Area: 72¾” wide fire—over six feet of flame. • Fuel: Electric. • Controls: Flame Connect app, multi-function remote, or hidden touch controls, with a thermostat and a timer up to 8 hours. • Fan: Included (heat mode only—the flames themselves are silent). Who It’s For There’s a wall in your house—or out on the covered patio—that’s been waiting for a fire, and there’s no chimney or gas line anywhere near it. You need a fire that runs on electricity alone—no chimney, no gas line . If you want a big linear flame going on an ordinary Tuesday in July as easily as a snowed-in Saturday, the Ignite Evolve 74 is the one. Choose it and the flames run year-round with the heat off, indoors or out, so the fire follows wherever the evening goes. What Makes It Special Most electric fireplaces live indoors and stay there. This one is certified for outdoor use under a sheltered overhang, so the fire that anchors the living room in January can anchor the covered patio in June—same flames, same controls, same six feet of glass. The fire itself is yours to shape. Flame color and speed can be set on their own or called up in one of seven presets , and an ambient light sensor tunes the firebox brightness to the room on its own, so the fire reads right at noon and at midnight. In July, run the flames with the heat off ; in January, the built-in heater adds comfort warmth for up to 1,000 square feet. It also recesses fully into the wall , with or without trim, so the glass runs edge to edge and the fire looks built in, not hung on. Possible Downsides • The heat is supplemental —comfort warmth for up to 1,000 sq ft, not a replacement for your furnace. • The ember bed is a required, separate purchase —tumbled glass, river rocks, black rocks, or acrylic crystals. • Outdoor installations carry a 1-year warranty ; indoor installations get five years. If you want a six-foot fire on a wall with no chimney and no gas line—indoors or out—the Ignite Evolve 74 is the right decision. The blank wall becomes the room everyone ends up in, and in summer the evening moves outside with the fire still going. The look is yours to build: ember beds in tumbled glass, river rocks, black rocks, or acrylic crystals; optional driftwood, beach driftwood, and thin split log sets; a moulded 74-inch linear faux wood bed; and an optional trim kit for drywall and tile walls.
